Explanation:

since we are adding, you start by combining like terms. x's with x's and #'s with #'s. that leaves you with 8x-28=180. Your next step is to get x all by itself so you move the -28 to the other side by adding 28 to both parts. that leaves you with 8x=208. now you still have to get x by itself and right now its being multiplied with the 8 so to get rid of it you divide by 8 on both sides and that leaves you with x=26.

8x-28°=180°

8x=180°-28°

8x=152°


(8x)/(8) = (152)/(8) \\ x = 19
