Explanation:

You can simplify n+2<6 by subtracting 2 from both sides to get n<4. Now you just select all options less than 4 which include 1, 2, and 3. The reason 4 is not a solution is because it is equal to, but not less than, 4. Sense 5 is greater than 4 it is not a correct answer either.
