Please help

let f(x)=-4x^3+9x^2-5x+132

Is x-1 a factor of f(x)
Is x+1 a factor of f(x)
Is x-4 a factor of f(x)

Answer:

x-4 IS a factor

Explanation:

IF x-1 is a factor then putting x = 1 into the equation will make it = zero...... it does not

IF x+1 is a factor then putting x = -1 into the equation will result in = 0

it does not

IF x -4 is a factor , then puting in x =4 into tthe equation will = 0 it DOES !
