If p=7 and q=1, what is 4pq squared + (-7)pq squared +5p?

For the exponents, I don’t know how to distribute the squared/power of two within each term.

Answer:

14

Explanation:

q² = 1

and 1² = 1 * 1 = 1

4pq² + (-7)pq² +5p

Evaluate for p=7,q=1

(4)(7)(1²)+((−7)(7))(1²)+(5)(7)

(4)(7)(1²)+((−7)(7))(1²)+(5)(7)

=14
