Explanation:

from the diagram

∠ KLM = ∠ KLC + ∠ CLM , that is

11x - 8 = 70 + 4x - 8

11x - 8 = 4x + 62 ( subtract 4x from both sides )

7x - 8 = 62 ( add 8 to both sides )

7x = 70 ( divide both sides by 7 )

x = 10
