easiest way is just pick some small simple integers for x and plug it into the equation to find y

(0,-8)
(1,-7) 1^2-8 = -7
(2,-4) 2^2-8 = 4-8 = -4
(3,1) etc.
(4,8)
(5,17)
(6,28)

-3 | 9-8=1 | (-3, 1)

-2 | 4-8= -4 | (-2, -4)

-1 | 1-8=-7 | (-1, -7)

0. | 0-8=-8 | (0, -8)

1 | 1-8=-7 | (1, -7)
