All you have to do to be saved in the Lord Jesus Christ is just believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and Savior and confess the same with your mouth. And whether you believe it or not, heaven and hell are real. Just because you don't believe, doesn't mean you're not going somewhere. And you can't say "oh I'm a good person, so I'm going to heaven." That is so good, I'm glad you're a good person, but being a good person, doesn't get you into heaven.
