10. Students in a mathematics class were given an exam and then retested monthly with an

equivalent exam. The average scores for the class are given by the human memory model
(t) = 80-17log(t + 1), 0 ≤ t≤ 12, where tis the time in months. (round to the nearest
whole number)
What was the average score after 6 months?_

Explanation:

so, t = 6.

I assume that "log" is the logarithm to the base of 10.

80 - 17×log(6 + 1) = 80 - 17×log(7) = 65.63333332... ≈ 66

if "log" means actually "ln" (logarithm to the base of e), the result is

46.91952747... ≈ 47
