Answer:

  • a = 45°
  • b = 23°

Explanation:

If I name the centre (intersection of diagonals) as O, Angle AOD will be equal to 68°

[Opposite angles are equal]

The diagonals bisect the 4 corner angles of a rectangle in equal halves. So, a = 45°

Also, Angle ADO = 90° - b

[Each of the four angles in a rectangle = 90°]

And In
\triangle AOD,

=> Angle AOD + Angle ADO + Angle OAD = 180°

=> 68° + 90° - b + 45° = 180°

=> 203° - b = 180°

=> b = 23°
