a)

Soln,

Given,

Radius(r) = 8cm

Length/height(h) = 50cm

Then,

Volume of given prism = πr^2h

= 22/7×(8cm)^2×50cm

= 10057.14286cm^3

Therefore,The volume of the given prism is 10057.14286cm^3

b)

Soln,

Given,

Radius(r) = 8cm

Length/height(h) = 50cm

Then,

C.S.A. of the given prism = 2πrh

=2×22/7×8cm×50cm

=2514.285714cm^2

Therefore,C.S.A. of the given prism is 2514.285714cm^2
