The answer is: y-2= -1/2(x-6)

Step- by - step

( 6,2) and (2,4)

m= y2-y1/x2-x1

m=4-(2)/2-(6)

m=2/-4

m= - 1/2

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-2= - 1/2 (x-6)

y-2= - x/2 + 3

y= - x/5 + 5

Reorder terms

y= - 1/2 ( x+5 )

Remove parentheses

y= - 1/2x+5

Point- slope form

y-2= - 1/2 (x-6)
