You are right. The derivative of f(x) = f'(x) = 1 a constant

If you plot y = f'(x) = 1 it will be a vertical line passing through x = 1 (See graph)

This means f'(x) is constant and equal to 1 for all values of y

So whether it is f'(5) or f'(100) the value = 1

f'(5) = 1
