remove the parenthesis
collect the like terms
move constant to the right
calculate the equation and divide on both sides
3(2x+3)-4x=-3
6x+9-4x=-3
2x+9=3
2x=-3-9
2x=-12
divide 12 by -2x
your answer is x=-6
