Answer:

Just from looking at the distorted and wrong places to put the minus sign, the answer is option C.

❌First option (A): there is no way a minus sign will be in the numerator and denominator, If so they would cancel out to be a positive number.

❌second option(B): there is no way a minus sign would stay in the denominator, it always stays in the numerator (even if it's in the denominator you take it up to the numerator).

❌ Fourth option (D): again no way a minus sign stays in the denominator so this option is wrong.

✅ Option (C): The minus sign is in the right place which is the numerator.

you see how I solved this problem without writing on paper or anything like that, sometimes you can find your answers by spotting abnormalities in the options you're given.
