Explain how injury can cause disease in pets.

Answer:

Let's say a dog is in a race. This dog falls and gets scraped. If the injury consists of an open wound, that would leave a big opening for diseases to get in. Diseases can be harmful to the way pets function, just like us humans. If your pet is injured, do anything you can to treat it.

Injuries can cause disease in pets because when the pets get hurt, some body parts are showing up which allows germs to enter the body. As a result, the pet gets sick.
