you need to turn the second y equation into the correct format, so it needs to be y=. Subtract the 1 from the left side and but it on the right side. Your equation should y=3x-1. To graph this on paper, you would go 1 down on the y axis, then rise (go up) 3 and run ( go over) one.on a calculator plug it into the y1 function and y2 function and then press graph.
