The biotic and abiotic factors which might influence the wolf and moose
population numbers include
- Biotic factors- Plants and animals
Biotic factors are the living component of the ecosystem while abiotic
factors are the non living components of the ecosystem.
Availability of plants and animals in moose and wolf population will
increase as they serve as sources of food which aids their survival.
Availability of water is also important as it ensures they don't die of thirst and
helps to ensure optimal functioning of body cells.
The carrying capacity for wolves be decreased if a large number of moose
were killed by hunters as food will decrease and competition for it increased.
