Why is India called the largest democracy over Usa?

Though Indian govt. at present seem more like trying to kill all Muslims that exist

Answer:

The reason is that the voting population of India is much more than that of USA and that's why India is considered the largest democracy in the world.

This literally makes sense as the democratic activities depend on the voting population of the country.

Say for example an election in kerala if the voting population of kerala is more larger will be the election so thats why India is the largest democracy in the world

And sad that democratical features of the country are being broken and even things like CAA, New farm laws and all that only benefit the Modi and his friends are happening
