The greek word for return is ’nostos’ . ‘algos’ meaning suffering. So nostalgia is the suffering caused by an unappeased yearning to return. Would you agree with the statement in context of the lesson, “Glimpses of India-A baker from Goa” ??

Answer:

I dunno looking at this it seem to be correct. I agree with the statement. Nostalgia means looking back at something that is old or that reminds you of the past. Here's an example, if you were to look back at a song made back in 2012 you would say that the song is nostalgic. Now referring back to the sentence, I think that it cuts close to the original Greek meanings so that is why I say the statement is true.
