64 Options.

So there is 7 options which is the nachos, fish sandwich, green beans, fries, strawberries, jello, and 2 different milks. First, add all the foods 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 8. Next, multiply the 8 by 8 and it will give you 64.

Thats how you get the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since each time, you have two new options so you have to multiply by 2.

Work backwards.

You have white or chocolate milk. You can have Strawberries or Jello with two different options so in total you have 2 * 2 = 4 different lunches. Then You have green beans or french fries each with 4 different options so 2 * (2*2) = 8 different lunches now. Then you nachos or a fish sandwich each with 8 different options so 2 * (2 * (2*2)) = 16 different lunch options.

In simpler form, you can do, 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 16 or
2^(4) = 16, for the four different choices you have.
