Kayla's backyard is a rectangle with dimensions of 18 feet by 22 feet. If she covers the ground with a circular hot tub with a diameter of 14 feet, what is the approximate area of the ground, in square feet, that remains exposed?

Backyard area = 18 x 22 = 396ft²

Area of a circle = pi x radius² (radius = diameter/2)
Area of circular hot tub = pi x 7² = 153.938ft²

396 - 153.938 = 242.06ft²
