Answer:

7/4 or 1 3/4

Explanation:

Okay, so first we need to convert the mixed fractions into improper fractions.

3 15/16 = 63/16

2 1/4 = 9/4

So,

63/16 divided by 9/4

When you are dividing fractions, you need to use the reciprocal (or the inverse of the second fraction), and the division changes into multiplication.

so,

63/16 * 4/9

(63)/(16) *
(4)/(9)

We can use cross multiplication.

so,

(7)/(4)

Or we could have multiplied and then simplified the answer.

The answer is 7/4

Hope this helps! :D
