by creatin the inequality 14x+24=180 we know that and straight line is 180 degrees and 14x is 9x+5x and 24 is 20 +4. we can now solve by doing the following below:

14x+24=180

-24 | -24

180-24=156

bring down the 14x now we have

14x=156

-14 | -14

156-14 is 142 so x=142

9x-5x =20-4

4x = 16
