Pick one of the two types of equilibrium (static equilibrium OR dynamic equilibrium) and describe in detail how your body monitors it and sends a signal to the brain when it senses a change? Be thorough in your explanation.
Include the following: location, receptor name, mechanism of action (how does it detect changes in body position?), what types of changes does it detect/respond to? nerve responsible for sending impulse, area of brain responsible for integrating/deciding on the course of action, does it respond to 1 plane or more than 1 plane?
