2(3x-2)-4x+1=9
6x-4-4x+1=9
6x-4x=2x
-4+1=-3
2x-3=9
+3 +3
2x=12
Divide by 2.
2x/2=2 and 12 divided by 2 is 6.
Thus, x=6
