Answer: -1

================================================

Work Shown:

(x_1,y_1) = (1,-1) \text{ and } (x_2,y_2) = (2,-2)\\\\m = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1))\\\\m = (-2 - (-1))/(2 - 1)\\\\m = (-2 + 1)/(2 - 1)\\\\m = (-1)/(1)\\\\\boldsymbol{m = -1}\\\\

--------------------

Side notes:

Slope = rise/run

rise = change in y value =
y_(2) - y_(1)

run = change in x value =
x_(2) - x_(1)

Make sure you subtract in the same order each time.
