1. The graph

Take intercepts from the graph:

  • (10, 0) and (0, 10)

2. The function

  • 3x - y = 9

Calculate the intercepts

  • x = 0 ⇒ -y = 9 ⇒ y = - 9
  • y = 0 ⇒ 3x = 9 ⇒ x = 3

Points are: (3, 0) and (0, - 9)

3. The table

Ordered pairs given:

  • (0, 4) and (6, 0)

4. The graph

Take intercepts from the graph:

  • (-4, 0) and (0, - 12)

5. The function

  • 6x + 3y = - 12

Calculate the intercepts:

  • x = 0 ⇒ 3y = - 12 ⇒ y = - 4
  • y = 0 ⇒ 6x = - 12 ⇒ x = - 2

Points are: (- 2, 0) and (0, - 4)
