Answer is 17 degrees

Angle 2 and 4 are vertical angles that are congruent so they are equal

Equation

6x + 8 = 4x + 11

Solve for x

Subtract 4x from both sides to isolate variables

6x - 4x + 8 = 4x - 4x + 11

2x + 8 = 11

Now subtract 8 from both sides to combine the constants

2x + 8 - 8 = 11 - 8

2x = 3

Divide both sides by 2 to solve for x

2/2 x = 3/2

x = 3/2

Now let’s solve for angle 2 by substituting 3/2 for x in the equation

(6)(3/2) + 8
18/2 + 8
9 + 8

Angle 2 is 17 degrees

We can also check angle 4

(4)(3/2) + 11
12/2 + 11
6 + 11
Angle 4 = 17 degrees

They are the same, problem solved!
