x=40%(y)

5=.10y

y=5/ .10

y=50 10 cent coins

value of 10 cent coins = 5 dollars

x=40%( 50)

x=20 20 cent coins

20* .20= 4 dollars

5+4=9

she has 9 dollars worth of coins
