Pls I really need help 40 points I’ve been stuck on this over an hour. Is my change in area and dimensions correct?

you are correct.

if you multiply the base and height with 3

height: 3 * 4 = 12

base: 3 * 8 = 24

area = 1/2 * base * height = 1/2 * 24 * 12 = 144

change in dimensions: 3 * 1 = * 3

change in area is (144/16) = 9
