f(x)= 4/4x+16

reduce denominator to find the vertical asymptote

4/4(x+4)

Now what makes x equal to zero?

x+4=0

x=-4

So if I were to plug in -4 it'd give me 0

As you can see in the graph the function will never approach x at -4

Also although not asked this function is just 4/4(x+4)

since u cancel the 4s

1/x+4
