The formula for the volume V of a cylinder is V = r²h, where r is the radius of the base and his the height of the

cylinder. Solve the formula for h. Then find the height of a cylinder with a volume of 36 cm³ and a base with a

Answer: h=V/r²

h=4 cm

Explanation:

V = r²h solve for h

V/r² = r²h/r² ==> divide the formula by r² to isolate h

h=V/r²

h=36/(3)²

h=36/9

h=4 cm
