Is this a good starting parigraph for My Pledge To Our Vetreians And tell me what i could change/add

“My pledge to our veterans”

Nick Lampson states, “There is nothing nobler than risking your life for your country.” I liked this Quote because it shows how much veterans love their country. Our veterans were the ones that ran towards the danger while we ran away. Every year on November 11 we celebrate Veterans Day which is also the day that officially ended World War 1. These are the men and women that helped keep our country safe and free. They have been fighting for us since 1776. That's more than 225 years ago. My pledge to our veterans is to remember and respect all their sacrifices and ways they built this country.

Answer: See below!

Step-by-step explanation:

Your writing is very clear! I thought you did extremely well. However I did catch some mistakes (grammar-wise).

On the 4th sentence, there needs to be a comma before "we." Also on the 4th sentence, there needs to be a comma before "which," and "also" needs to be removed. Instead of "These are the men and women" it should be "These men and women." On the 6th sentence, there needs to be a space between "free." and "They." On the last sentence, you should remove "ways," and replace it with "how."

Here is your paragraph corrected.

Hope this helped! Your writing is wonderful :)
