Y=x-1

Explanation:

I usually graph the point that's needed (in this case -2,-3) and then use the slope of the original equation (leave out the y-int.)

Y=x-1 went through the points (-2,-3), (-1,-2), and (0,-1). It has a positive slope and is parallel to y=x+1
