three lakes lost water during a drought. Lake Jensen lost 1/6 of its water, Lake parlow lost 26% of its water, and lake stockton lost 33/200. which lake lost the least amount of water whats the answer?

Answer:

Explanation:

26% is equal to 26/100

you have to figure out a common denominator for all three numbers. the easiest for me was 600

to get from 1/6 to x/600 you multiply by 6 so you do the same to the top. equaling 100/600

for 26/100 you times top and bottom by 6 equaling 156/600

for 33/200 you multiply by 3 on both equaling 99/600

now you can clearly see that 99/600 is the least amount
