a*x^n + b*x^(n-1) + c*x^(n - 2) ........

We have:

(x-1)(3x^2-5x-3)

this is equal to:

3*x^3 - 5*x^2 + 3*x - 3*x^2 +5*x + 3

where the thing that i did is distribute the multiplication

this is equal to:

3x^3 -8*x^2 + 8*x + 3
