in my imagination it would look something like this...the terrain would be freezing cold, white an brown (snow and log cabins), and there would be people collecting fire wood then running back into their huts. there would be people coughing everywhere. it would smell like fire, and b.o. people prolly couldnt shower because the lakes were frozen over, resulting in b.o, and there would be fires burning in huts. i would sense a bit of sadness and dread. people not knowing if they will live to see the next day. it was a difficult time.
