Out of 340 racers who started the marathon, 311 completed the race, 25 gave up, and 4 were disqualified. What percentage did not complete the marathon?

25 gave up and 4 were disqualified
25+4 = 29

340-311 also = 29 that didn’t complete it

So we do 29/340 = 0.0852

0.0852 x 100 = 8.529 = 8.5%
