5(w+3)=50
Divide both sides of the equation by 5
W +3 = 10
Move the constant to the rigth-hand sode and change its sign
W = 10 - 3
Substract the numbers

W = 7

5(w + 3) = 50 \\ \\ 5w + 15 = 50 \\ \\ 5w = 50 - 15 \\ \\ 5w = 35 \\ \\ w = (35)/(5) \\ \\ w = 7
