A vector with a magnitude of 22 m points due north. A second vector has a magnitude of 12 m, and points due south. What is the magnitude of the resultant?​

10m North. Since they are forces going in opposite directions, find the larger of the two and subtract the smaller one from it. Also, since theyre pulling from both sides, the side with the stronger magnitude will become smaller after you subtract since that opposite force is acting on it from the other side holding it back.
