turns into this when you distribute

5p - 30 + 11

add the common varibles which is

5p - 19

4 -1(3 -1p)

4 -3 -1p

add common varibles

1 - 1p

5p -19 = 1 - 1p

-1p +1p add 1p to both sides which turns into:

4p - 19 = 1

+19 = +19 add 19 to both sides

4p = 20 dived both sides by 4
