You normally multiply 96 and 12 without the decimal point which makes 1152, and then you have 2 places after the decimal point in each number so you add the 2 of the decimal places and that makes 4. Finally, you move the decimal point to the left 4 times, which makes 0.1152.

Answer: 0.1152
