A rectangular block of copper metal weighs 1996 g. The dimensions of the block are 9.4 cm by

6.5 cm by 5.6 cm. From this data, what is the density of copper? (hint: find the volume of a block
first)

The volume is 342.16 cm^3. The mass is 1996 g. Density is equal to m/v, therefore 1996/342.16= 5.833528174 g/cm^3.
