Set up a proportion.

w = width and l = length

I would put the length and the width of the model in the first fraction and the length of the actual building on the right.

(w)/(l)


(7)/(58.7) =
(w)/(140.9) Multiply both sides of the equation by 58.7 and 140.9 and you get:

140.9(7) = 58.7x

986.3 = 58.7x Divide both sides by 58.7

16.8023850085 = x I will round to the nearest tenths' place
