Answer: (3, -7) and (3, -1)

Explanation:

Distance formula: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

c is the distance between different points which is 5 in this case

a=3-(-1)

a=3+1

a=4 ==> distance between x-coordinates

4^2+b^2=5^2

16+b^2=25

b^2=9

b=3

Distance from -4 and y-coordinate of a different point is equaled to 3.

How to express this in the form of an equation?

|-4-y|=3 ==> where y is the y-coordinate of a different point

-4-y=3

-4+4-y=3+4

-y=7

y=-7 ==> (3, -7)

-4-y=-3

-4+4-y=-3+4

-y=1

y=-1 ==> (3, -1)

(3, -7) and (3, -1)
