Answer: x+(x/2 + 3)=180 ==> 1st option

62 degrees ==> smaller angle

118 degrees ==> Larger angle

Explanation:

x=one angle

y=1/2 x + 3

x+y=180 ==> supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees.

x+(1/2 x + 3)=180

x+(x/2 + 3)=180 ==> 1st option

x+x/2 + 3=180

2x/2 + x/2 + 3=180

(2x+x)/2 + 3=180

3x/2 + 3=180

3x/2=177

3x=354

x=118 degrees ==> Larger angle

x/2 + 3=

118/2 + 3=

59+3=62 degrees ==> smaller angle
