First, apply the cross multiplication method to each given. Then, do substitution if necessary.

7. \begin{gathered} (2n)/(3) = (5)/(2) \\ 4n = (3)(5) \\ 4n = 15 \\ \frac{ \cancel{4}n}{ \cancel{4}} = (15)/(4) \\ \sf \bold{n = 3.75}\end{gathered}

8. \begin{gathered} (6)/(10) = (3)/(n) \\ 6n = (10)(3) \\ 6n = 30 \\ \frac{ \cancel{6}n}{ \cancel{6}} = (30)/(6) \\ \sf \bold{n = 5}\end{gathered}

9. \begin{gathered} (n)/(7) = (2)/(5) \\ 5n = (7)(2) \\ 5n = 14 \\ \frac{ \cancel{5}n}{ \cancel{5}} = (14)/(5) \\ \sf \bold{n = 2.8}\end{gathered}

10. \begin{gathered} (3)/(n) = (5)/(10) \\ 5n = (3)(10) \\ 5n = 30 \\ \frac{ \cancel{5}n}{ \cancel{5}} = (30)/(5) \\ \sf \bold{n = 6}\end{gathered}
