Prokaryotes have the ability to make energy from food (such as sugar). Some even

have the ability to perform photosynthesis (and make their own food). Where do
ou think these processes take place in the organism?

In the organism (if it is a plant), photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts. In the chloroplasts, plants use solar energy, or energy from the sun, to create ATP and glucose. Animals, however, do not undergo photosynthesis.
