Explanation:
Notice every time a number ended up in the hundreds place, it was because a number
for example, 2,
was dropped into the next digit of the number. Let's say I get 18 from subtracting, and there is a 4 in the hundreds place, then 18 becomes 184 subtracted by any number below it that the divisor can multiply to.
Note: Anytime 2 negative numbers are divided by each other, they will have a positive quotient.
