x= 2

4(x+3)-8 = 2(x+2)
4*x=4x + 4*3= 12-8 = 2*x = 2x + 2*2 = 4
4x+12-8 = 2x+4
12-8=4
4x+4 = 2x+4
4x-2x = 2x
2x+4 = 4
2x-4 =-4
----------
2x = -4
Divide 2x on both sides, -4 divided by 2 is 2

Answer:

x = 0

Explanation:

4(x+3)-8 = 2(x+2)

4x+12-8 = 2x+4

4x+4 = 2x+4

-2x -2x

2x+4 = 4

-4 -4

2x = 0

x = 0

Hope this helps!
